Beaphar WORMclear® Spot-On for Cats is an effective, easy-to-use spot-on dewormer, ideal for cats that dislike tablets. This veterinary medicine contains praziquantel, and combats tapeworm infestations commonly found in UK cats.

Hunting and eating infested prey, or ingesting fleas during grooming can be a common cause of tapeworm infestations. This easy-to-use spot on kills tapeworms fast.

Suitable for cats and kittens weighing more than 1kg. It can also be applied to pregnant and nursing queens.

As fleas can carry tapeworm eggs, it’s important to ensure your cat’s flea treatment is up to date, to reduce the risk of reinfestation from ingesting infected fleas.

EASY-TO-USE SPOT-ON FORMULATION: Simply part the hair on the back of your cat's neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible and place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze firmly until the tube is empty.
VET STRENGTH TREATMENT: Beaphar WORMclear® Spot-On for Cats is a veterinary medicine containing praziquantel, which is available without the need for a prescription.
TAPEWORM CONTROL: Any cats that hunt or scavenge are at risk of tapeworm infestation. Fleas can also carry tapeworm eggs that can be ingested during grooming. So it’s a good idea to apply regular flea treatment to your cat, such as Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On or Beaphar FIPROtec® COMBO, as well as worming your cat regularly.
SUITABLE FOR CATS AND KITTENS: Can be used on cats and kittens weighing more than 1kg. It can also be applied to pregnant and nursing queens.

Instructions

ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE.

Do not remove the tube from the sachet until you are ready to use the product.

Weigh your cat carefully and use the following table to calculate the correct dose. Apply one tube per 2.5kg of bodyweight.

Cats weighing 1–2.5kg: 1 tube

Cats weighing >2.5–5kg: 2 tubes

Cats weighing >5kg: 3 tubes

1.Use the easy-peel corners to remove the tube from its blister pack.

2.Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist and pull the cap off.

3.Turn the cap over and use the other side to break the tube seal by pushing down and twisting the cap.

4.Part your cat’s fur between the shoulder blades and place the tip of the tube onto the skin.

5.Squeeze the tube several times to empty its contents completely and directly onto the skin.

Do not allow children to play with your cat, or recently treated animals to groom each other, until the fur is fully dry.

Kittens: Suitable for kittens weighing more than 1kg

Nursing queens: Treat at the same time and as frequently as their kittens until weaning

Adult cats: It is recommended to routinely worm every three months

Do not exceed the stated dose. In the event of an overdose seek immediate veterinary advice.
Composition

Ingredients: Praziquantel 20mg. Butylhydroxytoluene, N-methylpyrrolidone.

Do not apply when  ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE. Do not use on cats weighing less than 1kg, as this could result in overdosing. Do not use on dogs. Do not use on sick or convalescent animals. Do not allow recently treated animals to groom each other until the fur is fully dry. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Should accidental eye contact occur, rinse immediately with clean, fresh water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product. Do not allow children to play with your cat until the fur is fully dry. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. For animal treatment only.
Efficacy period  1 month
Storage and safety  Keep tubes stored in the box until ready to use. Keep away from food and drink, including animal feeding stuffs. Dispose of empty tubes in the household rubbish immediately after use.
