Compared to conventional foods, ACANA delivers more calories from protein and fat and fewer calories from carbohydrates, reducing the risk of obesity and diabetes and promoting your cats’s peak health.

Metabolic Energy for ACANA Pacifica Cat Food is 3950 kcal/kg (485 kcal per 250 ml cup) with 35% of energy from protein, 45% from fish oils, and 20% from fruits and vegetables.

That’s why we suggest using this chart as a starting point, and monitoring your cat or kitten’s weight and adjusting her rations as needed. We also recommend feeding her twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available.

When switching diets, it’s important to transition your cat or kitten as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ACANA. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ACANA, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ACANA.
