Non-heating, highly digestible and barley-free for horses and ponies in light to moderate work, including performance horses in early fittening work.
Barley-free Working Horse & Pony Cubes are a perfect all round high fibre, low energy feed, ideal for all types of horses and ponies, from leisure horses to performance horses in early fittening work. Their combination of fibre sources and carefully micronised wheat provide slow release energy to help fuel work and maintain condition without exacerbating excitable temperaments. Fully balanced with vitamins and minerals, they provide quality protein for great muscle tone whilst soya oil helps promote a healthy coat as well as supplying additional non-heating energy. Working Horse & Pony Cubes are a lower starch alternative to Oat-Free Horse & Pony Mix and are also often referred to as a half strength Top Line Conditioning Cube offering some of the same benefits but with a lower energy level and higher fibre content. They can also be fed alongside Lo-Cal balancer, to horses in harder work for whom a higher energy mix or cube may provide too many calories, causing them to gain weight or exacerbating an excitable temperament.
