- High levels of antioxidants in feed are of particular importance to racehorses as high levels of training increases the risk of muscle damage and infections. SPILLERS® Racehorse Cubes are therefore high in Vitamin E as the major antioxidant vitamin used by the cells of the body against free radical attack. When feeding SPILLERS® Racehorse Cubes, no further Vitamin E supplementation will be required.
- B Vitamins are well known to support appetite, particularly important for horses in intensive training. Research has shown Vitamin B production by racehorses may be reduced so SPILLERS® Racehorse Cubes contain a full compliment of B Vitamins (including B1, B12 and folic acid).
